Christmas and New Year party!

exhibition at the tourist information office in Ljungby 17/11-7/12



In the window it was winter and Christmas. There was a snowfall, a snow lantern, several runners and a juniper with handwoven ornaments.
Inside, we had the New Year dinner table: damask tablecloth and serviettes, four ladies in their best finery. There is a firework on the wall, and (for lack of space) the placing cards are there, too.

The tablecloth has several snowflake patterns (at least 7 different)
Of course the serviette holders and the chandelier ornament are handwoven.
As centerpiece there is a "vase" of horsehair.

This was the last of our eight anniversary exhibitions.

This year, we have exhibited in all areas of the county, except Älmhult, to celebrate our 10-year anniversary. It had not been possible without the devoted work of our members.

We wish our new members a warm welcome!

After this year we look forward to our next 10 years - who knows where this may end? Maybe we will stage a "ball at the palace" in a couple of years...
